LION’S CLUB INTERNATIONAL, DISTRICT 404A1 SIGNS MOU WITH DELTA STATE HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT BOARD.
The District Governor, International Association of Lion’s Clubs, District 404A1 Lion Fortune Wagbatsoma Signed a Memorandum of understanding with the Delta State Hospital Management Board on the Upgrade and Equiping of the Eye Clinic of the Central Hospital Warri.
Lion Wagbatsoma stated yesterday Monday 13/9/21 in Asaba during the MOU signing that vision is part of the key services of the Lions Clubs International adding that this project will not only be a support pillar to the government in the health sector but will also be of great Impact on the lives of humanity by helping to reach out to more individuals who have sight challenges.
While noting that Lions Clubs International, District 404A1 will not relent in contributing meaningfully towards the growth and development of humanity and the Society at large, she revealed that the Lions Clubs are not playing the role of the government but supporting the government to better the lives of citizens noting that “government cannot do it all alone and that is why We are always there to give support through our services”
In response, the Permanent Secretary, Delta State Hospital Management Board Dr.Mrs F.E Omoraka thanked Lions Clubs International, District 404A1 for choosing the Central Hospital Warri as a beneficiary of their service .
She commended the District Governor, District 404A1 Lion Fortune Wagbatsoma for this laudable project which she described as a project that will not only be of great assistance to the hospital but will always be of great impact to humanity.
“We pray to see more of this kind of laudable projects, yes we are really very grateful but we are just like Oliver Twist who will always asked for more” she added.
